Our Story
Founded in 2018 by childhood development specialists Rebecca Thomson and Marcus Chen, Playlane Melbourne began as a vision to create more than just another playground. After years of working with children in educational and therapeutic settings, Rebecca and Marcus recognized the need for a space that truly understood how children learn, grow, and explore the world around them.
What started as a small community initiative in a converted warehouse has evolved into Melbourne's premier children's entertainment destination. We've welcomed over 150,000 families through our doors, hosted thousands of birthday celebrations, and created countless magical moments for children aged 2 to 12.
Our commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices has earned us recognition as Australia's first carbon-neutral children's entertainment center. Every piece of equipment is carefully selected for both fun and environmental impact, using recycled materials wherever possible.
