1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Playlane Melbourne's facilities and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use our services or visit our premises.
These Terms of Service govern your use of our children's entertainment park located in Melbourne, Australia, including all play areas, educational facilities, party spaces, and related services provided by Playlane Melbourne.
2. Facility Usage and Safety
All visitors must comply with our safety guidelines and facility rules at all times. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult aged 18 or older. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask visitors to leave if they do not comply with our safety protocols or behavioral standards.
Age restrictions apply to certain play areas and activities. These restrictions are clearly marked throughout the facility and must be strictly observed for the safety of all children. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their children use age-appropriate equipment and participate in suitable activities.
Playlane Melbourne maintains comprehensive insurance coverage, but visitors participate in activities at their own risk. We recommend that all visitors have appropriate personal insurance coverage for recreational activities.
3. Booking and Payment Terms
All bookings for birthday parties, educational workshops, and group events require advance reservation and payment. Cancellation policies vary by service type and are clearly communicated at the time of booking. Full refunds are available for cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance, except during peak seasons.
General admission fees are payable upon entry and are non-refundable once access to the facility has been granted. We accept various payment methods including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments. Group discounts and membership programs are available and subject to separate terms and conditions.
All prices are subject to change without notice, but any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid for.
4. Behavioral Standards and Conduct
We maintain a family-friendly environment and expect all visitors to behave respectfully toward staff and other guests. Inappropriate language, aggressive behavior, or any conduct that disrupts other visitors' enjoyment will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.
Food and beverages from outside the facility are not permitted, except for specific dietary requirements or medical needs which must be declared upon entry. Our café provides a variety of healthy options suitable for children and adults with various dietary preferences and restrictions.
Photography and video recording are permitted for personal use only. Commercial photography or recording requires prior written permission from management and may be subject to additional fees and restrictions.
5. Liability and Responsibility
While we maintain the highest safety standards and regularly inspect all equipment, visitors use our facilities at their own risk. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times and ensuring they follow safety guidelines and age restrictions.
Playlane Melbourne is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Secure storage lockers are available for rent, and we recommend using them for valuable items. The facility is monitored by security cameras for safety purposes.
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Australian law. We maintain comprehensive public liability insurance and comply with all relevant safety standards and regulations for children's entertainment facilities.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian Privacy Act requirements. Information collected during bookings, memberships, or facility visits is used solely for service provision, safety purposes, and communication about our services.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties except as required for service delivery or as mandated by law. Parents have the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about them or their children.
Security cameras operate throughout public areas of the facility for safety and security purposes. Footage is stored securely and accessed only when necessary for safety investigations or as required by law enforcement.
7. Modifications to Terms
Playlane Melbourne reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and at the facility entrance. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For significant changes that materially affect visitor rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable advance notice through our website, email communications to registered users, and posted notices at the facility.
If you do not agree with modified terms, you must discontinue use of our services. Refunds for pre-paid services affected by term changes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
